Virtual Private Network allows you to connect to the Vanier network from outside the College

 

 

Drive Mapping for Android

To access your personal Vanier data, you must connect to a network location on a server at Vanier. To complete this connection, you need you Vanier email username and email password and yourdepartment name. Your email username is the first part of your email address (before the @). Where username is indicated below, enter your Vanier username. If you are doing this from home, you first need to make a VPN connection to the College.

Published by ES APP Group

Select Menu > Network > LAN

Select the Menu icon, and then click on Network, then LAN, and tap New

Enter Information

Domain: vaniercollege.intra

Server: nocfs2/home/[username] or nocfs2/data/[departmentname]
Replace [username] or [departmentname] with the relevant name as it applies to your P or O drive.

Username: your username

Password: your password

Display as: whatever you want

You're all Set!

You should now see the contents of your O or P drive. Repeat the directions to setup whichever drive you didn’t setup if you want.
