New Helpdesk Website Launched

Vanier College IT Support Services are pleased to unveil our updated website, filled with resources, guides, tips, and troubleshooting to answer your IT-related questions and give you tools to improve your Vanier experience.

Accessible from the Staff, Teacher, or Current Student pages of the Vanier College website, or directly at itss.vaniercollege.qc.ca, the IT Helpdesk site provides the following four key categories of information, in addition to computer and internet usage tips:

Computers & Printers

  • Information on where you can find computers or printers to use, how to login to them, and tips and tricks for using them.

Wireless Internet connection
Account Management

  • Learn how to set your security questions, change your password, or unlock a locked account.

Employee Services

  • Learn how to use the various telephone systems at Vanier, how to setup your email, or connect to the VPN (allowing you to connect to the College network resources from home). In addition, learn about how to use the viewing rooms at Vanier, including the state-of-the-art Smart Classroom, and how to keep track of students on Lea.

Whether you’re setting up your computer, having technical difficulties, looking for College resources, or interested in learning how to work more safely and effectively online, the Helpdesk website is filled with information to improve your experience.
