The initial reception of the Vanier Walk, Vanier’s brand new 360° tour of every part of the College has been fantastic with over 1000 people exploring the College in the first couple days of the launch. The Walk Challenge, prompting you to explore and find the ten hidden locations was a resounding success, with two students and one employee winning the competition by being the first to find all ten Challenge locations after their exhaustive searches. Stay tuned to VTV to see their exclusive with the winners To celebrate their win, we added hints to the Challenge page to give anyone who hasn’t found them some cryptic help! Be sure to keep an eye out for our Director General, Normand Bernier, who joined us in the Challenge to help welcome you, and all of the Vanier community of now and future to our beautiful campus.
A big thanks also goes out to all who have contacted us with the quirks they found while exploring – we’ve been busy fixing the discrepancies, and the Vanier Walk’s first update is going live today with the bug fixes and a thumbnail browser for the buildings.
